Worship Team
Sunday Worship: 10:00am
Worship is a great privilege of the family of God, and at First Christian Church our goal as a Worship Team is to encourage and assist our congregation in lifting praise, worship, and thanksgiving to our worthy, awesome and amazing God! We do this through hymns as well as contemporary music, with a variety of instruments. We welcome all to join us in worshipping our great God! Christian Education
During the 10 a.m. service, we are pleased to offer:
A Quiet Room, equipped with nursery needs for moms to spend quiet time with their babies. Located on the first floor near the sanctuary.
The Toddler Room where children can enjoy playtime, listen to a story, and have a snack.
Sunday School for 4-9 yr. olds where two teachers alternate to take the children through the Bible with games, activities, songs, and art projects. We are honored to help your little ones begin to know Jesus better.
The children’s rooms are located downstairs. One of the greeters will be glad to show you the way.
Audio Visual Team
The Audio Visual Team supports the public services by providing audio reinforcement for the preachers; audio mixing for the worship team; graphics/text during the worship time, sermons, and pre- and post-service announcements; and finally live service streams to YouTube and post-dated replay on local station WCTV. The team members often cover each other's positions but their general assignments are:
Ben Shaner: AV Coordinator, prepping Power Point slides
Sam Tabor: video and audio mixing
Kat Kennedy: Video mixing, Audio mixing, Prepping the youtube stream
Bev Funk : Power Point slides
Bernie Anderson: Power Point slides
Terri Andeson: Power Point slides
